XBOX - POTWND
Amazon - Pre-Order POTWND

I know I know...I keep on talking about it. BUT...hands up who has their copy on pre-order? Well, if you have an xbox360...you can buy it before its onsale in the shops! Uncle Bill must of paid to get this as a timed exlusive, which is still pretty decent! Plus, if you are a videophile...its in HD...rather than plain old regular DVD;

This is a real must-see for music fans and absolutely defines Soulwax as one of the greatest live acts in the world. And guess what – you can be one of the first to experience this ahead of launch on DVD this September.

From 18 August “Part of the Weekend Never Dies” will be available for download exclusively from Xbox LIVE Video Store. What’s more, even better than the DVD, it will also be possible to watch all the onstage fun and backstage chaos in high definition.

I know a few lucky lucky people have watched it already...Im looking forward to seeing it when its released on DVD...I will be waiting like the rest of the plebs as I dont have 360 :(

For the people who missed them first time round, or just to remind you how freaking awesome its gonna be...here is the trailer and some clips. Thanks to soulwax.info for videos and pic, check it out for all things Soulwax.

Soulwax news

Here is a great vid of Erol playing MGMT - Kids (Soulwax Remix) at T in the Park...wish I made more of an effort to go this year.

Thats not all, it seems they have been pretty busy as of late...with an edit (or remix?) of The Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy, Hey Girl. Video of it in action below, taken from the Main Square Festival in Arras.
...loving the 2manydjs sample :)

And since Im posting videos, here is some oldies of 2manydjs from 1999...

David and Stephen Dewaele spinning tunes at the legendary Zillion club. At the time they were still called The Flying Dewaele Brothers, which would evolve into 2 Many DJ's.

Basement Jaxx - Rendez-Vu

Soulwax remix news!

Myspace - Soulwax

Stephen Dewaele and Steve Slingeneyer have revealed in a recent radio interview for Belgium festival Rock Wechter (for all you Belgium speaking folk...watch it interview here http://www.stubru.be/node/61785)... they have given MGMT the Soulwax treatment and remixed "Kids". Neither MGMT or the label have actually heard the track yet...but Im sure they will be thinking the same thing as me. If Soulwax has remixed it...its gonna be massive! They also let slip they are remixing a Chemical Brothers track...but its still very much a work in progress.

And...better that that never...happy 38th birthday Stephen :D

Extra:

Three great videos of Soulwax in action, which was recorded at a gig in Munich on the 21/04/2008. You can watch them over at mobile sessions, which is run by Sony Ericsson.

I tried to download them, but cant find the originals...so you will need to click on videos > then goto page two.

A Fifth of Beethoven (Hidden Cat's "Based on the Soulwwax" Edit)

Myspace - Hidden Cat

I have been digging this track since I first heard 2ManyDjs play it back in November last year, since then I've only heard Justice play it. Im guessing its been given out to a select few, cue hiddencat. This guy has made is own remix based on the Soulwax edit, its sounds pretty damn good!

"I really wanted to play the soulwax edit out, but couldn't find a copy cause apparently its pretty exclusive. Anyway, I threw my own together with the original track by Walter Murphy, stole some sebastiAn drums, and put it together based on the Justice fader 50 set and a video on youtube.
The tempo is a bit slow, but other than that the first minute and a half is pretty spot on, but I couldn't make out the end on any recordings I heard, so I just sort of made it up.
hope it suffices, enjoy!"

So thanks to Hiddencat for putting this together!
